Today was a weird day! The weather was off and on - hot wind one second and cold the next. The sky was CRAZY dark, making the colourful villas and the Hacienda hotel stand out in contrast. We spent the morning in our place snacking and of course reading (2 of 4 of us were reading The Hunger games and not reading was a difficult task). In the afternoon we braved the weird wind and went to the pool, warmed ourselves in the hottub and socialized with the awesome staff. We spent the early evening on the beach, watching the strange clouds around us and expecting a storm any minute. It did come, but not until the nighttime. No torrential rains like one would associate with this kind of sky, just wild lightning over the ocean!
