The first day of summer could not possibly have been a better one. It was a sunny and beautiful morning! Kindie and I drank coffee on the porch, painted our nails, and hung out with Dragon Ninja, who of course decided to make an appearance. We each also got one productive thing done, which we concluded was just enough.
This amazing morning was followed by an afternoon on the porch, sipping the wine I brought back from Mexico, making/drinking homemade sangria, making/eating nachos, while some friends dropped by for a drink and a snack, and doing absolutely nothing.
And this mellow afternoon preceded my last softball game with The Tailgate, which we won. We celebrated the win and drank to my departure at The Bimini after the game.
After typing this I can't believe how insanely grateful I am for my life. This was one of the most perfect and awesome days EVER.
